Long An Greater Bay Area AI Legal Research Center Established | Boyang Li Appointed as Senior Advisor
The Long An Greater Bay Area AI Legal Research Center launched in Guangzhou, with Boyang Li appointed as Senior Advisor to advance AI legal research and compliance.
On August 31, 2023, the inauguration ceremony of the Long An Greater Bay Area Artificial Intelligence Legal Research Center (hereinafter “the Research Center”) and the second AI+Legal Salon were successfully held at Beijing Long An (Guangzhou) Law Firm! This event invited many senior lawyers from the Long An Greater Bay Area, representatives of AI enterprises, experts, scholars, and seasoned practitioners to witness the establishment of the Research Center. Subsequently, the second AI+Legal Salon lecture was held, where seven guest speakers generously shared their insights based on their profound professional knowledge and rich practical experience, jointly exploring the path of commercial落地 and application compliance of AI technology.
Mr. Wu Rangjun, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Beijing Long An (Guangzhou) Law Firm, delivered a speech for the inauguration ceremony. Attorney Wu first warmly welcomed the各位 lawyers from Long An Greater Bay Area and enterprise representatives to Long An Guangzhou to jointly witness the establishment of the Research Center. AI application practices are becoming a common concern for various industries, and the establishment of the Research Center comes at the right time. Attorney Wu highlighted that the Long An Greater Bay Area AI Legal Research Center is the second research center established by the Long An Greater Bay Area Research Institute after the Commercial Arbitration Research Center. The Long An Greater Bay Area Legal Research Institute is an organization initiated by the Long An Guangzhou Office, aiming to integrate professional legal resources from the Greater Bay Area and even the whole country, conduct research on specialized legal issues, promote the external publicity of legal research achievements, and enhance the professional level and industry influence of Long An Law Firm. Attorney Wu expressed his hope that the Research Center would actively respond to the purpose of the Long An Greater Bay Area Legal Research Institute and conduct solid legal research. In the future, Long An Guangzhou will promote the establishment of legal research centers in more fields, providing development platforms and resource support for more young lawyers with genuine talent and learning.

As another legal research center of the Long An Greater Bay Area Legal Research Institute, the establishment of the Research Center meets the needs of the times and comes at the right moment.
After the unveiling ceremony, Mr. Sha Yuchen, Founding Partner of Long An Guangzhou, presented appointment letters to the Research Center Director Attorney Chen Huan (Long An Guangzhou), and Deputy Directors Attorney Ye Junxi (Long An Guangzhou) and Zeng Yue (Long An Guangzhou).
The Research Center appointed Hao Hao (Long An Guangzhou), Huang Qingfeng (Long An Guangzhou), Tang Jianjie (Bowei Chuangyuan Technology), Li Boyang (Long An Guangzhou), Lai Xiangdong (Long An Shenzhen), Dai Mingzhong (Long An Xiamen), and Lin Ziyou (Long An Hong Kong) as Senior Advisors. Mr. Ge Xiangrong, Deputy Director of the Long An Guangzhou Management Committee, presented appointment letters to the attending Senior Advisors.

Subsequently, the second Long An AI+Legal Salon lecture officially began. As the first AI legal research center in the Greater Bay Area, the establishment of the Research Center follows the trend of the times and responds to industry needs.
In the future, the Research Center will be dedicated to AI legal research, providing legal support in areas such as AI algorithm security, data compliance, data transactions, and intellectual property protection, actively creating more legal research achievements in the field of AI and law.
